Thursden Vallye Raphael a striking son of Graded Sports Pony Stallion Aimbry Chester out of a classically bred Yealand Nightowl mare. This elegant bright bay has an exquisite head, fabulous paces and superb temperament. He has taken all the qualities from his father’s influential warmblood breeding which includes Advanced Dressage Stallion Wadacre Chicko, Ramiro Z, Lady Killer, Rastell and Raimondo and his mother’s top class riding pony breeding which includes, Bottingelle Swansong, Bwlch Valentino, Oakley Bubbling Spring and Blueprint. This attractive 4 year old colt shows a huge, athletic loose jump, has been fully vetted and licensed with the NPS. All his mares were scanned in foal 2006 with 100% fertility record to date. He is very kind and gentle with his mares, the perfect gentleman at all times. He was easily backed and ridden away during Autumn 2005 by a 12 year old child and is still proving to be a calm and sensible ride. In 2007 he will continue his in-hand showing career as well as Cherif qualifiers, RIHS show hunter pony and the Potential International Dressage Pony Series. His long term career plans are to be produced as potential JA and FEI event pony as well as an outstanding ridden show pony, his career potential is unlimited.

Raphael goes Royal !!!
Thursden Vallye Raphael triumphed this weekend (25/3/07) in qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show, in only his third outing under saddle, he performed beautifully to secure first place and his ticket to the RIHS, then returning to the ring for the championship resulting in Reserve Champion, at BSPS area 9a Hereford Marches Spring Show.
Raphael holidayed from the end of last season until Christmas, when he was introduced to his Jockey for this season Laura Thomson (a day release student at End House stud from Craven College). This partnership was short lived as Raphael was away for the month of February on stud duties at an AI centre, as there is interest in him as a sire all around the world including Australia. However Earlier this month Raphael was back under saddle, and two weeks ago came a very respectable third in his first ever ridden competition, against a very strong field at Southern Counties spring Show, RHIS qualifier Part Bred Arabs.
Trudy Goulding (owner) commented “We are absolutely delighted Raphael has exceeded all our expectations, we where over the moon with his In Hand Results last year, but this weekend I was left speechless when I got the phone call to tell me he had qualified. He is certainly proving to be a performance pony, he loves showing, and has certainly made the transition from in hand to ridden with remarkable ease!”
Raphael’s foot perfect performance and his exceptional manners belied his age, and lack of experience (and his stud duties) in classes made up of a high quality ponies with many more miles under their belts. Judge Miss Szutowicz, commented what a fabulous pony he is, and how she would love to ride him! Raphael’s producer Mark Carswell joked “I only hope that Laura will hand the reins back to me for the odd in hand class I’ve been relegated to the position of groom for this season!!!”

Aimbry Chester is the Pink Papered son of Wadacre Chicko and is really bred in the purple, his relations include Ramiro Z, Lady Killer, Galanthus, Rastell who was a top level graded jumping Stallion in Sweden and Raimondo who was an international Showjumper and Sire of graded Stallions Ragtime, Rinaldo and Ramir.. He is related to several top class horses Ratina Z by Ramiro, gold medal winner at the world equestrian games 1994, Libero H and Taggi. His full brother Aimbry Cabana achieved approved status at the Anglo European Stallion grading and in his first year competing he won young rider gold medals and many novice championships. Cabana was elementary national champion 1997 and Homebase 5 year old dressage champion He is graded Advanced Medium Dressage, has won 12 times at Medium Level and is now working at Advanced Level. Placed Medium National Final at Stoneleigh National Dressage Championships. He was also graded lifetime Sports Pony Stallion. Chester is also ‘ The Face ‘ of Baileys Horse Feeds and can be seen on many of their advertising merchandise.
Berry Rose Dawn Chorus is an outstanding broodmare, graded Sports Pony Society, qualified Pony of the Year Show 2005. When she graded with the Sports Pony Society Raphael was only 3 months old and was described by both judges as an outstanding foal with excellent conformation, temperament and charisma, the epitome of The Sports Pony Breed Standard.
Yealand Nightowl is the full brother to top clas pony stallions Yealand Night Echo and Yealand Nemesis. His progeny include Palmfields Nightingale, Supreme In-hand NPS Championship Show 2002 winner of Vincent David Cup, Colbeach Nightowl Reserve Supreme BSHC and RH Champs 2004. Yealand Presbertry winner Pony show hunter type NPS championships 2004, Jackets Nightowl won Arab Horse Society National Champs 2003.
Bottingelle Swansong’s progeny include Romai Mr Macawber qualified HOYS 2003, 2004 and 2005, RIHS 2004 and 2005, won first Great Yorkshire, champion young show-hunter pony BSPS Summer champs 2005.
Oakley Bubbling Spring, a legend of his own lifetime, top class pony stallion, can be found throughout the most prolific winning ponies pedigrees, as well as having an outstanding ridden career.
Bwlch Valentino, the ’Moses’ of the British Riding Pony, described as a stallion of such stature, both genetically and physically, that it is difficult to imagine that such potency could have been pulled together in one equine. A Northern Dancer among Riding Ponies, the patriarch of the British Riding Pony, he produced a dynasty of Cusop ponies, progeny includes chsmpion ponies, Bwlch Zephyr, Zip and Zingaree, Wingrove Minkino, Poliana, Pollys Gem, Oakley Bubbling Spring, Cusop Dignity and Cusop Flamingo.

2006 has been a fabulous season for End House Stud, who continue to go from strength to strength
Our 3 year old Thursden Vallye Raphael, by our own SPSS Graded stallion Aimbry Chester, began his showing career this year, he won at every County level show he has attended throughout 2006 including 3 Championships, 1 Reserve Supreme, 2 First Reserve Supremes and 10 Reserve Championships.(click here for his results to date) . Stud Manager, Trudy Goulding, says of him "This pony oozes presence and has done from the minute he was born. He has made me so proud this year, once again Chester has proved he has the ability to sire top class competition stock. At Cheshire County alone Chester was the sire of 4 different winners, his stock have been winning major championships all over the country. Also, the rumours that started after Royal Welsh that Raphael had been sold to Europe are not true, nor will he be sold. Despite a 6 figure sum being offered by a top European producer this pony will stay with us for hopefully a long and successful career. As staunch supporters of British Breeding we have proved top class ponies can be bred in Britain without he need to travel abroad to buy ponies. Further stock by Aimbry Chester are expected 2007 and will be available for sale." Thursden Vallye Raphael is presently at Stallion AI Services with Tullis Matson in Whitchurch having his semen collected and frozen for distribution to Australia, New Zealand and the EU.
