Please check your nominated stallion's individual terms.
The majority of stallions supply 3 doses for 3 cycles. Most mares will conceive on the second cycle if the first cycle was missed.
FAI is not recommended for mares over 16 yrs of age. If your mare is 16 yrs or over there will be no refunds.
Unused Semen remains the property of the stallion owner and should be stored appropiately.
However, if the mare owner wishes to keep the extra doses for the following year or for a second mare then a further stud fee (sometimes negotiable, see stallions terms) will be charged on receipt of a second or third pregnancy certificate from your vet.
All payments must be received prior to semen being dispatched.
Any storage is the responsibility and cost of the mare owner. Storage can be arranged through Pennymore Stud.
A covering slip will be issued on receipt of veterinary certificate that your mare is in foal.
If not certified in foal October 1st a percentage (depending on your stallion's individual Terms) of the stud fee will be returned.
In order to keep costs down, transportation costs will be calculated according to number of orders received.
