I called Gentle Cascade, Oliver and Oliver came to the Braemar Stud from his breeder John McLoughlin as a weaned foal in 2002.
He is not the first foal I have bought from John, as my love affair with his ponies, and especially Milford Wren, has been ongoing for the last ten years. I have had a half sister to Oliver and now I do have Milford Wren herself! Wren will not breed again so we pin our hopes on Oliver to carry on her line.
Gentle Cascade is by Laerkens Cascade Dawn out of Gentle Carra, who is a daughter of Milford Wren.

Known at home as ‘Tucker’, Churchway Daybreak was bought through the BCPS Sales List that I was running at the time. He was bred by Debbie Tucker, in Devon and is by the Sup. Chp. Spinway Comet.
His dam, Cluggan Drama was given to Debbie by the late Pam Forman when Debbie worked for Pam. The Cluggan prefix has become well known for this line of ponies.
Tucker is a small stallion standing only 13.1 hands high. He has a good temperament correct conformation and great free movement. Being a hard colour, will not produce blue eyed cream offspring. |
